My name is Elle, the photog behind the lens!
Each individual tends to sway my style between the two extremes I love. On one hand I love clean, simple photographs. Neutral colors, simple props, small pieces like headbands and bonnets that make the baby the center attention in photographs will always remain a classic keepsake for years to come. Then on my other hand I adore imaginative themes that let creativity flow, pops of color on youngsters and families, and dramatic flowy dresses on expecting mamas.
Working with the individual to create a session and photographs they love is so important, I'm here to listen to what you are looking for in your pictures and to find common ground between it and my style. I'm a Washington state native that just recently moved to Eau Claire. I have been blessed with two beautiful babies. Audrey, who is 6 and is my sassy little mini me and my son Noah, who is the light and hope in my daily life. He was 7 months old when he passed away from a genetic condition in 2015 and was the inspiration behind me picking up a camera for the first time.
Since his passing I have interned with an amazing local newborn photographer, started a nonprofit organization with her called the Mara Hope Project that gifts family portraits to families who have lost a child, and now I have ventured out on my own into this crazy photography world.
Focusing on the bond between mama and baby, brother and sister, and family connections is my first and foremost goal in my work.
